Instincts at Work provides a range of services to bring our tools, techniques and new ways of thinking to your organization.


Leading leaders in health system transformations, we provide coaching to senior healthcare leaders with a specialization in physician leaders. We also provide healthcare team performance coaching.

Our work:

The  Leadership team of Mount Sinai Hospital’s Temmy Latner Centre was looking for a way to evaluate how they were performing. They had several attempts at putting a performance management system in place but it hadn’t stuck. They wanted something that was consistent with their values which required more of a co-designed approach rather than a drop-in solution. Through working together we determined the need for more clarity of vision along with better alignment of strategic priorities. Through a process of team and individual leadership coaching the Temmy Latner Centre has evolved into a results-driven organization, ready to lead the province in seamless patient-centred care.


We deliver our flagship Evolution of Thinking program and other programs focused on practical tools and techniques that drive real change in organizational thinking.

Facilitation & Planning

We specialize in HealthLinks facilitation and business planning, as well as strategic planning for FHOs and FHTs. Visioning and team leadership facilitation for groups as well as governance and leadership session facilitation.

Our work:

In 2013 the Ontario Ministry of rolled out a large-scale transformation program called HealthLinks, designed to ensure better wrap-around care for the highest needs patients in the province. The objective of HealthLinks is to change our mindset about how care is delivered to ensure that our healthcare system is sustainable into the future. Instincts at Work has had the privilege of working with transformation agents from 9 HealthLinks around the province who are blazing the trail in this new way of working. Through a combination of visioning, group facilitation, and neuro-science based change management tools, Instincts at Work has equipped these leaders to drive this transformation work.


Penny Paucha is available to speak on a range of topics around engaging teams, neuroscience and leadership, with an emphasis on introducing practical tools and techniques to audiences.
